FYI - I have used the earlier model called the "Reporter".

3 years ago it alerted me that intruders were coming down our 100 yard driveway... I was alerted in time to be outside when the two men were approaching my car....

Later that same year it alerted me that someone was on our back porch a 2:00 am ... he was ARMED.... but so are we.

So with I'll update my equipment today.

simple motion sensor to notify you someone (welcome or not) has arrived in the monitored area by an audible beep at the indoor unit. The outdoor unit uses AA batteries (change yearly)and mounts with 4 screws. The additional optional sensors beep twice to seperate them apart (wish they had single beep different tones)Indoor unit is 110vac with battery back-up. I have 2 sensors with 1 base unit, in service for over 2 years, very few false beeps,(ignors most cat/dog passing) always beeps when someone passes by the sensor. works well in rain, sun, dark. extra sensors pricy, consider buying base/sensor combo.

I first installed two sensors. Then after it saved us from a 2:30 AM breakin I installed a second system with 3 sensors . This gives us a full 5 unit coverage with two different alarm sounds. This gives us a sound security system that is very reliable !
