at first worked really good but the fuse blew and i was able to buy more at radio shack but within this last year i went through a whole pack of three or four fuses. did not work with our lap top. only used it for phones and ipods.

Worked, for awhile. Fuse blown. Radio Shack doesn't carry replacements, didn't have any idea where to find replacements but offered to sell me another one. Are you kidding me.

I purchased this item at the Alhambra Radio Shack. I thought it was a good value as it has a USB plug and a normal 2 or 3 pronged plug that can be used at the same time. Exactly 25 days after the store receipt warranty was out, the product did not work anymore. I took it back and all the clerk and manager had to tell me was "did you buy the warranty we offered you when you bought it?" I replied "no." I thought that your product would last more than 2 months. Again they said you did not buy the warranty so we can't help you.I will never buy from Radio Shack again. They can't even sell or guarantee product they sell unless you buy their warranty. Radio Shack is not what they used to be, a quality store. The Enercell™ 75W Power Inverter by Enercell in not a quality product. I will pay more elsewhere to get a product that will last.A total waste of [$] + tax and gas twice trips and time!!!!!!!!

My cigarette lighter in my '11 Ford Escape comes out at a horizontal angle, so any plug that has just a little weight to it pulls down on this inverter and kills the connection from the inverter to the socket. It works fine with the stem angled down and with the plug secured against my console, but I still lose power every time my vehicle hits a bump or if I close a door. If your cigarette lighter plugs in at a downwards angle, you shouldn't get this problem. I bought this to replace a previous inverter that had a wire between the box and the plug-in, which worked perfectly fine until age set in.

Not for large electronics. Works great for small electronics that can use input of 115V AC / 75W, such as cell phones, small laptops, mp3 players etc. This info is written on the device. Check the small print on the charger of your phone or other device to see it's power requirements before using the inverter. Don't use it with a large electronic device such as a tv/stereo and then be disappointed when it doesn't work.

Bought it for tailgating to power a small stereo. depending on the songs volume and bass output, it would excede the 75w peak power and shut the whole radio down. so it woul turn itself back on and restart the cd from the beginning. get the bigger enercell power inverter.

Good product, but can't find the replacement fuse (15A 250V) anywhere. Checked several electronic stores. [...] I guess if the fuse blows, I'll just have to buy a new inverter at $30?

I used this for tailgating and it stopped picking up a charge from my car after two weeks. I was using a 9 inch tv for the pregame and after only 5 hours of use the adaptor stopped working.

Having smart phone cause you to have keep a charger with you more often than not, so I have adapted to having my phone charged/recharged on the way to wherever I may go. Verrry convenient, great invention!!!!
