I got my batteries locally when purchased new phone set. First purchase of 2 - two packs were reliable. This set too. These current batteries held charges on both handsets for past 2 years, just a the prior 2 did. Just now nearing replacement time and I bought them in Oct. it is mid March. No failure performance to date. I won't hesitate to buy from my usual Radio Shack store once more. Proven consistently reliable and the range from the phone base is considerable without losing power during conversation. I'm sold and I'm a hard sell. Recommend buying batteries and holding off on installing both in twin handsets so both won't require replacement at immediate same time next time.

Out of three of these batteries installed in my Uniden DECT1580 only two functioned properly. One I exchanged and got a replacement that also failed to perform. After over 50 hours of charging the state of charge indicator would show fully charged but when the phone was used the bad batteries only lasted a few minutes, the charge indicator dropping to zero and the phone shutting off. Extremely low quality yield - don't buy.
