These were a gift for use with a desktop computer. When viewing anything on the computer there is obviously an interference issue. They go back tomorrow.

Well i got these during black friday when they were for half price since i was in need of need speakers, i decided to go for this and wow these are pretty great when it comes to listening to my music. not alot of bass but it gives out a good decent amount. i use these for my living room computer and i bump my music every than and now when i have the chance of not interrupting anyone here in the living room. The picture makes these speakers look huge but theyre not which i think is ok because they don't take up much space.
wonder how much louder do the other higher priced speakers cost? overall i love these and im glad i got them on black friday :)

After adjusting the computer main volume, the speaker main volume, the program input volume, and adjusting the EQ, I was able to get some pretty good sound out of these speakers. Still there is a bit of over sampling of some ranges but it is not bad. I was looking for a low priced set of speakers to replace an old set that quit. If they hold up it will be worth it.

I would have to say these speakers are great for the price I got them for. Great replacement speakers with an awesome sound quality especially for being [$] 8w speakers.

They worked great, until about a week or two after I bought it, when one of the speakers just randomly stopped producing sound. I don't know if it was just a fluke and I just happened to grab a bad one, but I would recommend spending a few extra bucks for a lot better quality than this.

I bought these speakers for some sounds for a bachelor party, basically they were a backup option. But when I brought them home and listened to them, they became the first option!! For what I paid, these speakers sound GREAT!! Again for the money I couldn't ask for more than what I got. If you just want some sound for a small room, you can't go wrong with these babies.

This Gigaware 2.1 speaker set provides an excellent example of getting what you pay for. The only thing this product has in its favor, over pack-in freebie speakers, is the addition of a subwoofer. The sub, on it's own, is rather nice. It can rumble your desk a bit and provide an appropriate thump when you would expect it. The satellite speakers, however, are very disappointing. The sound which they produce is extremely echoey and flat, lacking any amount of richness or depth, and does not combine well with the sound coming from the subwoofer. For general purpose usage, including listening to speech or a TV show, the effect is rather like listing to someone talking with a cardboard tube held up to your ear. But if all you're doing is listening to music, and if you turn it up loud enough, you can mask these issues...kind of. But I would not recommend this speaker set for much of anything, besides an emergency backup. If you want quality sound, step it up a several price points and purchase a quality speaker set.

I bought these speakers awhile ago and I just hooked them up to my computer today. Man I hate that I waited so long!! Sound quality is great and they were easy to install.

For the price of the speakers they sound great. I bought them for my laptop but even use it for my ipod. They have plenty of power and because i like loud music these were perfect and the warranty to replace they is only .99 cents so take them back if the break no big deal. Overall very pleased.
