Adapter was fine for use (save buying batteries for a portable metronome), but lasted about 10 months in maximum 90 minutes of use per day (usually less): the power output fell below what was needed to power device. No warranty coverage, so I'll have to look elsewhere since I can't afford to buy one of these every year.

I looked all over for an adapter for my zoom 505 II giutar peddle and the internet found some as low as [$]but with shipping you could buy this at rs for the same cost and know that it works and it's at a good company and you can pick it up and use it today at the store. For the zoom 505 you need the adapter tip (K) if you buy it at the store they include the tip, online you have to pay for the tip. This is a great buy for giutar players.

I bought this to replace the broken adapter for a baby-monitor. And it works like a charm. I left the baby monitor plugged all night and the adapter wasn't even warm. I heard some units tend to warm or even heat up. I guess since my baby-monitor only drew 180mA max, this unit was rated for 300mA so that's probably why it doesn't even get warm. I was afraid it wouldn't work because of how unique the tips that can be on these devices, but Radio Shack carries a lot of different tip. Bring your device to the store to be sure it works for you.

I do have a complaint which I have not been able to have addressed by the off shore CALL CENTER...Specifically, if I buy the ENERCELL at a local RS, the ADAPT A PLUG is FREE!!When I purchased the ENERCELL ONLINE,the ADAPT A PLUG cost[$].WHY RS, WHY???

I use it with my scanner. I get no interfearance on scanner and it keeps the rechargeable batterys up to full power all the time.
