I bought two f these batteries for my VTECH cordless phones in April. After less than 5 months neither one will hold a charge. Stay away from Enercell rechargeables. BTW, I gave it one star only because I couldn't save the review with zero stars.

Enercell batteries - what garbage! I bought one of these batteries a little over a year ago for my Vtech cordless phone because the original battery from 5 years ago was wearing down and starting to lose its charge faster than I liked. Then, about a year into using the phone, the enercell battery went bad. I thought, maybe it was just because my wife constantly returns it to the charger? So I bought a replacement, and a second one for my other phone station in the house.When I bought the two new batteries on June 30, 2010, the RadioShack rep tells me that these are "memory" batteries and to charge them up fully, then let them run all the way down before charging them again. That way the battery will hold a charge longer and last longer as well.Today is September 11, 2010, just slightly over two months and BOTH batteries are completely useless. If either phone rings and you pick it up, the battery dies. I had kept the original battery from when I bought the phones to recycle it, so I am using it because it works better than the Enercells I just bought. A six year old battery works better than a two month old one. Go figure!I spent good money, [$] each, and now I have nothing. Because I don't have the original packaging (who keeps that anyway!?)[...]. Live and learn. I won't be shopping at any of their stores in the future.
