I bought it in October for a Vtech phone, it charged up but when I went to use it in November, the phone said "check battery" and it wouldn't work. I tried it in another phone and got the same result. The clerk in the Radio Shack store said I "burned out the battery by keeping the phone on the cradle." I never heard of such a thing. I hope I can find another source for a replacement.

Same experience as Lancaster, PA. It's on sale online (not even marked as online sale ONLY) but not at the retail store and they wouldn't match it. I agree with Lancaster, PA --- such an asinine policy that ultimately will lead to RadioShack's demise.

I went on line to see if Radio Shack had this battery, which they did. I then checked to see if my local store (Lancaster CA.) had it in stock, which they did. When I got there (with the printed page from the web page) the guy at the store said that to get the [$] price, I had to purchase it on line. If I wanted to get it in the store it would be [$] + tax. They wouldn't price match the web page! What an asinine policy! I then went to Staples and purchased the battery. I will never shop at Radio Shack ever again nor will I suggest that people I know shop there. Oh, and they WILL be hearing this story as well!

After three years my AT&T cordless phone gave up the ghost. It was deader than Elvis! The battery was apparently an unusual size, since I was unable to find one locally. Once again, Radio Shack came to the rescue! I immediately found it at Radio Shack on-line [...] My phone sprung back to life and has worked beautifully since.
