I bought this cable as a replacement for my smartphone. The previous cheap cable lasted TWO years this one lasted exactly TWENTY-NINE days. The connector on end B broke off into my phone. The pins were a bent mess, and I'm not someone who is rough on my posessions. I was hesaitant because of the cost but thought "pay a little more, get a little better". WRONG.

I would not purchase this product again. The cable looks like a quality product, but it's not. The metal gold tone conection on the Micro-B end came loose from the plastic housing. I am very disappointed with Radio Shack for selling me this product because this is not an isolated incident. The salesmen tryed to sell me insurance for a cable; that should have been a warning...

I will never buy anything from Gigaware again, and it really makes me not want to shop from Radioshack ever again, as Gigaware is all they carry. If you have come across this cable and thought oh i need this, turn back now. I have gone through 3 of these cables with the Radioshack 3year cable warranty in only 2 months. It lasts anywhere from a day to a month. It is very fragile and built poorly. Everytime the cable breaks it is on the micro usb end. The solder breaks and/or the gold coated connector falls off. Someone at gigaware obviously doesnt know how to crimp cables.

I used to charge my droid x. It didn't take long before the micro usb end had trouble making a connection and then it broke apart.

Dont buy this thing. It worked great for the first few months and suddenly it doesn't work well at all. The micro USB end of it is flawed. I read other review and most people point to the micro usb end being broken. I could have bought a cable for 10 times cheaper

This cable works for connecting an Epic 4G phone to a PC -- where most other microUSB cables, including the stock cable supplied by Sprint, don't. For the price, this cable must be made of Unobtanium or something. It does get the job done, though. I'm torn between five stars (because it works perfectly) or four (because it's twice as expensive as it should be). I'm rounding up to five to offset the "1" reviews on here; it should really be a very solid "4" in my opinion. It would easily be a "5" if under $20.

I thought it was good charger because it was sturdy seemed to look good...I have had for about 2 months and now it won't charge my phone at all! Highly disappointed and mad about the money spent on something that didn't last.
