Comments about Antennacraft® U4000 4-Bay UHF Antenna: I bought the Antennacraft U4000 about three weeks prior to this review. It comes already assembled with a pair of u-bolts shipped loose. I plugged the antenna in through my booster and it immediately received some of the Dayton stations 50 miles away with the antenna sitting in our family room. I installed this on my roof (a one story ranch) with a 10 ft mast while using 100 ft of RC-6 copper clad quad cable but was disappointed that the performance wasn't as good as it was in the family room. I found that by rerouting the cable I didn't nearly need that long of cable so I purchased a 25 ft of the better solid copper quad RC-6 Coax. Upon hooking it up direct to my booster the reception was better than ever getting all of the stations fifty miles away in Dayton with a total of 44 channels (including subchannels), up from 23 channels with rabbit ears). Keep in mind this is Cincinnati with its hilly terrain. This antenna when hooked up properly with not an overabundence of coax cable, does everything I ask of it and more. There might be better antennas if you are willing to fork out more cash but with the addition of a booster you can't beat this for the [$] price and ease of assembly. Cable TV for me is a distant and expensive memory.

Comments about Antennacraft® U4000 4-Bay UHF Antenna: My Sister moved out to the country, to detour her from getting a satellite bill too soon, I bought her one of these for her birthday. Placed it on top of a 25' mast. She went from receiving 10 channels on her rabbit-ears, to 31 channels during the day and 40+ a night. This thing works great for Digital! Pros

Comments about Antennacraft® U4000 4-Bay UHF Antenna: Live high on a hill. Always had satisfactory perfomance from bowties.Recently temporarily lost cable to accident. Thought adding REAL antenna would improve picture 1000%. Wrong. Bowtie works better. Fifty dollars cheaper. Pros
