      Comments about Antennacraft® Heavy-Duty 3-Foot Tripod Mount:

I was planning to build a wooden mount in my floored attic for a HAM Radio 2M/70cm Yagi that I built. Then I saw this. It's actually sturdy enough that I can set it on the attic floor with a rotator and the antenna and it doesn't move or tip when I turn the antenna. So, I can move it around as needed. The $10 off web coupon sealed the deal. I may buy another for Field Day or use on our condo balcony at the beach.

              Comments about Antennacraft® Heavy-Duty 3-Foot Tripod Mount:

After I purchased this product, the weather turned bad and I was unable to install the unit as I had anticipated. We have a spare bedroom, and with a 5' pole and the antenna mounted, it comes in well under our 8' ceilings. The base is extremely stable sitting level. It was very easy to adjust the perpendicularity of the pole also. This will make for an easy transition, when I move the unit up to the roof. In the meantime, I am enjoying an outdoor antenna, inside my house.
