Comments about Antennacraft 5MS921 Amplified HDTV Antenna:

Installed in attic about 6 years ago. Good reception, about 20mi from towers, for most stations. One station is iffy, changes day to day. Even though omni directional, found that tilting and tweaking antenna position gave better results on most stations.

Comments about Antennacraft 5MS921 Amplified HDTV Antenna:

Dont expect this to preform like a big directional (beam) antenna, it doesn't. But it works and works well within it's limits.
I bought this to replace the (junk) antenna on my RV (it's not a Winegard Batwing). I needed a simple non-directional antenna, and this is it.
Same location, the old antenna got seven "channels", the new gets Forty-Four. Yes 44.
For a Urban/Suburban application it should work well, forget it for deep rual. Although when camped 60 miles across open (desert) terrain it pulled in about a dozen "channels".

Comments about Antennacraft 5MS921 Amplified HDTV Antenna:

I've had two of these, with each lasting about a year or so. The reception was great initially with easy installation. Located in SWFL, I got local channels, 24 hr. news and weather on 2 channels, some Spanish stations, public broadcasting, MeTV, and a few other stations. Looks like a sat. dish. But sadly, this product doesn't last long; disappointing in durability, but nice when working.

I bought this antenna about 3 years ago. it works very well. I receve about 20 chanells.I have put it in alot of diffrent locations and in diffrent setups including outdoors on a pole.It works best mounted in the attic with the booster just under the antenna. Its a little flimsy on a pole ,and the wind affects it somewhat. The weather will affect the weeker signals at times, but overall its grate,This is way better than a monthly bill.

Comments about Antennacraft 5MS921 Amplified HDTV Antenna:

Got this at a local Radio Shack (it was recommended by the manager). I'm about 25 miles from transmitters, in a wooded area, but on high ground. Was looking for a replacement attic-mount antenna, and didn't realize until I got it home that it has a power amplifier which needs to be plugged in. That's not workable in the attic space unless you happen to have a power outlet there - which I don't. I tried it out by connecting it directly to a Sony HDTV located upstairs, and the reception was very poor. Couldn't get a station that I'd been getting with an old standard antenna in the attic. It's going back.

Comments about Antennacraft 5MS921 Amplified HDTV Antenna:

I live about 10 miles from Augusta, GA and I was able to pick up 20 local channels with this antenna by simply mounting it in the top of my attic.

The signal was very choppy and weak at first, but I connected a signal amplifier to it and went from 8 choppy channels to 20 strong channels.

                  I used the radio shack 1-to-4 Bidirectional Cable-TV Amplifier (Model: 15-2506 Catalog #: 15-2506)

Picks up HD line of sight signals as far as 50 miles away. (I live on a hill). Some weaker channels (distant) will drop out in summer heat and humidity. All channels are great in the winter.
