Comments about Antennacraft® HD1850 Heavy-Duty VHF/UHF/FM Antenna: This replaced an antenna purchassed 6-7 years ago from Radio Shack. It had seen better days and was beginning to drop signals. The hardest part was getting the new one up on the roof without bending the radials. Care had to be taken to make sure the signal lines did not short out. I did not loose any channels with this installation.

Comments about Antennacraft® HD1850 Heavy-Duty VHF/UHF/FM Antenna: Bought this antenna thinking i'd get more channels then the small antenna I had. Not only did I get fewer channels but the signal was very poor as well. After the cold front belw in on Saturday,(11/26/11 most of the tabs broke and the rods were either dangling down or were broke and laying on the ground.

Comments about Antennacraft® HD1850 Heavy-Duty VHF/UHF/FM Antenna: It's too bad that the durability of this antenna is poor. It worked great until a windstorm unlocked some of the tabs on the elements and then the ice storm hit and now she looks like a bomb got set off on it. Don't waste your money on this thing, trust me...

Comments about Antennacraft® HD1850 Heavy-Duty VHF/UHF/FM Antenna: plastic clips breaks that holds antenna together after 7 years.I cannot afford to buy a [$] antenna every 7 years. My dad has had one for 40 years and this not falling apart. There's no difference between analog and digital TV aerials, according the HDTVantennalabs.com. Antenna makers and marketers have dubbed various products as digital or high-definition TV antennas simply because these buzzwords help their new aerials sell better.

Comments about Antennacraft® HD1850 Heavy-Duty VHF/UHF/FM Antenna: I always look for durable and bulky type antenna like this one. Why? Simple. Saves money in the long run. Durable and can take windy wind shears and hurricane seasons. Don't have to worry about it bending easily or blowing away. I find it was not bulky or durable enough for the price. Making the antenna rods solid rather than hollow would have made this antenna and others alike unbeatable! Customers all over the world would want them due to accident prone design and eco friendly!!! Beats Winegard antenna's by a land slide. I would recommend to everyone I install these for. I just love this antenna. Strongest and most durable ever seen thus far. Keep em coming RadioShack!!! Pros

Comments about Antennacraft® HD1850 Heavy-Duty VHF/UHF/FM Antenna: I have an older version of this antenna with 4 TV's hooked to it...flawless reception and good picture...Usually with digital, if there is any object between you and the broadcast antenna, there will be no reception..Digital has a very short broadcast range...find out how far the signal is broadcast from you TV station,,,you may be out of range...no antenna will help..(Cable anyone??) Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Antennacraft® HD1850 Heavy-Duty VHF/UHF/FM Antenna: Not only is this product junk but because I used Paypal They will not refund my money, Just a gift card Pros
