Comments about Antennacraft® 10-Ft. 16-Gauge Mast: Ordered this mast from Radio Shack twice and I have never seen any of them. I call customer service and all they can do for me is credit my card back and tell me to re-order it. I do then it gets lost! Do order this if you plan on ever receiving it.

Comments about Antennacraft® 10-Ft. 16-Gauge Mast: This mast was purchased to replace an older one that had been in service for more than 10 years and had even endured a hurricane with hardly a whimper. It was slightly bent, but not kinked. We wanted a straight mast, so got this one. We have a large TV antenna with rotator installed on it and get winds sometimes of 30 or 40 MPH. Since the antenna usually points in the same direction as the wind, the wind tends to "pick up the antenna," thus bending the mast. While the old mast served for more than 10 years, this one lasted maybe a month. It is bent worse than the old one, and as soon as the weather warms up we will be reinstalling the old one until we can find a better one than this.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Antennacraft® 10-Ft. 16-Gauge Mast: I have used this product for over 30 years for CB/HAM radio equipment. If used correctly it will be strong and durable for years! I should say decades since we have had some of this masting up for over 30 years. It is a little expensive anymore but what isn't if you are looking for quality!

Comments about Antennacraft® 10-Ft. 16-Gauge Mast: This is a strong mast that is used inside tubing to give the tubing added strength for a ham radio antenna. Like most other things, the cost is higher than before but it's worth the money.
Comments about Antennacraft® 10-Ft. 16-Gauge Mast: Why did radio shack double the price it is the same as the old model. Pros

Comments about Antennacraft® 10-Ft. 16-Gauge Mast: Use it in the Ventura, CA area to pick up LA TV stations and it works amazingly well. I have it mounted to the roof and I get all the LA channels at full signal strength and an incredible picture. Who needs cable?
