Comments about RadioShack® Amplified Outdoor HDTV Antenna:

This was unexpected absolutely positive experience after I hooked up this antenna in my spare bedroom leaving it just laying on the bed when I was tuning my Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD HDTV/monitor. The TV picked up all 46 FTA channels (6 encrypted) including HDTV channels. Reception is excellent no matter how I position this antenna so I do not have to install antenna outside. This is great buy and absolute bang for the buck! Highly recommended.

The first antenna I bought was defective and the reception was almost non-existent. I returned it today with no problems, hooked it up, and I am very pleased. I can pick up all channels within 30 miles, inside. I will install in the attic for better reception, but overall, very impressed.

Comments about RadioShack® Amplified Outdoor HDTV Antenna:

My family decided to cut cable and go with local digital channels and online streaming, so I initially bought a $10 antenna at a big chain retailer. No signal in the house, so I put it in the attic and got what I was going for from it. Except it could be hit or miss, depending on time of day. I decided to try this one here out, and I'm glad I did. Decided to mount it in the attic, four screws to a piece of wood and it's good to go. Pointed it in the direction of the towers and that was it. No need to fine tune for me, all channels were coming in at around 70%, which is good enough for me. I highly recommend this antenna if you are looking for an easy install, no hassle experience.

THIS ANTENNA WORKED BETTER THAN A VERY LARGE ANTENNA I HAD, I USED A ROTOR FOR THAT ONE, I LIVE NEAR HARRISBURG, PA (ENOLA). iT RECEIEVES ALL MY LOCAL STATIONS UP TO ABOUT 50 MILES. GET IT AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE FOR IT TO WORK THE BEST.

I could not wait any longer for the cable TV company to book my appointment so I took a chance on this. I mounted it at least 30 feet off the ground and pointed it North. It picked up all the channels on antennaweb.org marked yellow, red and blue. I got clear reception from 30 miles away.

We pulled the plug on cable and installed this antenna outside on our deck rail. Attached to the cable input to our home and all 6 TV's get all local channels with great reception. My old cable system has an amplifier splitter in the basement feeding all TV's. I used this amplifier but also needed the power injector for the external antenna.

We had and indoor antenna, but we couldn't get PBS. We put this on the roof and we can now get everything. I actually attached the antenna to the mount for our old satellite dish and used their cables to run the signal into the house. I'm not sure how long the antenna will last outdoors, but I'm happy so far.

I am so frustrated with this product. It skips and the picture is sometimes fuzzy sometimes clear. Moving it doesn't seem to helps. I have it mounted inside. Walking around the house causes it to lose reception. Just aweful!
