Comments about Motorola Talkabout® FV300 2-Way Radios (Pair): The quoted 10 mile range is someones pipe dream. I tested it starting 2 miles away and called repeatedly as I got closer to home. Contact was made at about 100 yards. I purchased it for in home use with a sick wife. It is sufficient for that use.
