Bought this because did not want to pay a monthly cable bill.

Guys at the store said they will take it back if I dont get reception. Receives about 25 channels in downtown Boston. 5 in HD

Live in San Diego - not on a hill or ravine, close to Del Mar. Able to only receive ABC and 2 other hispanic channels with my new Samsung 3D HDTV. My first - so not sure if more expensive models will work better.

I live in the NY Metro area and hooked this product up to two (2) different televisions and couldn't get one channel...

We bought 2 during the power outage after Hurricane Sandy. We hooked up the flat screen portables to the generator and we were able to watch the news updates and the local primetime channels via the free over air signals which were very important to us, plus the kids were distracted. As far as for regular tv viewing we found that the signal easily broke up and wasn't strong, so, I wouldn't recommend this antenna for everyday tv, unless you're a really patient person and don't mind "fiddling" around for your channel. I WOULD recommend this antenna for occasional use during power outages and being able to watch the games outside in the summer. Also, you need a digital tv in order for this antenna to work. Now if I can get a replacement antenna for the one that we bent......

I bought a 13" HDtv that I could take outside on my deck. I tried using a cable company box that was suppose to go anywhere around the house including outside, but the company could never get it to work at my home. I bought this antenna and hooked it up to the tv and now I can sit on my deck and pick up local channels.

Although bulky...works better than atenna that comes with the portable tv.

Will not hold signal. When you change stations must adjust. If someone walks by you lose signal. I would not waste my money on this one. I have now purchased 2different ones from Radio Shack and both had same problem at different houses. I wish Radio Shack would do a better job of choosing quality products.

We bought is so at we could plug it in to our HD tv to watch the Olympics in San Francisco--a city that has notoriously poor HD TV reception. However, we're completely satisfied--and enjoying crystal clear Olympics coverage. I wholeheartedly recommend this.
