I agree with one of the other reviews, If the phones boost could be permanately on that would make it a great phone. Maybe as an alternative some large instructions as to how to use the boost button(maybe a decale). For now I'll make up a Sheet to tape on the phone.

This phone has solved my husbands hearing problem.
He can now hear with the built in amplifier.
He just wishes it had caller ID.
We solved that problem, by going to our phone company. They provided us with a plug in that shows the in coming call at the bottom of the TV.

I like to keep one corded phone in case power failure mekes cordless phones inoperable. However, typical corded phones are simply not loud enough for my poor hearing. This phone solves the problem very nicely. If you are hard of hearing I highly recommend it.

Bought it for my mother who is having hearing issues. I can't comment on durability since she hasn't had it very long but the "boost" in volume works fine. I only wish we could set the boost to be on all the time as she forgets to push the button each time she answers the phone.

Max volume is not very loud but at max volume there is so much feedback that it's not useable. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Bought this phone for my mom. She could never hear anyone on the phone. She loves this phone. The buttons are big and the best part is when she can't hear someone she pushes a button on the hand set and it amplifies the volume so she can hear. I think this is a great phone for the money.
