We used these at a very large 80 acre resort in the Caribbean, and they worked great throughout. Has a great channel lock feature, and also lots of channels to choose from.

        Comments about Midland® GXT1000VP4 50-Channel GMRS/FRS Radio (2-Pack):

Wonderful Product! I was moving my family across the United States and did not want to add another cell phone plan until we got settled. These radios were perfect for our communication on the road. The only unexpected thing was that the radios are so powerful that it requires an FCC License. So now I have a call sign too, which actually ended up being fun to use as well. The FCC License is good for five years and I know I will be using the radios again soon so even though it was unexpected, it worked out fine.
