Great picture quality with the High Contast,a very good value, plenty of inputs. Hooked up to SDTV Satelite box through the SVHS input and Audio R/L inputs with a blueray CVC player through the HDMI cable, I also hookedthe digital Audio output of the Blueray DVD player to the digital input of a Bose 3/2.1 System, this decodes Dobly Digital and DTS sound played by two Gemstone speakers and a medium sized Subwoofer !@" It offers much better and louder sound than the TV speakers have also I have the out put RCA from this TV hood to the RCA input R/L Chanels to the bose for Satelite TV which only supports 2 Chanels not HD sound. It reads 1080 Resoultion from my DVD/BRDVD, but reads 480 from my satelite TV box.Blue Rays do not seem much better than DVDs, so why is there such big fuss over Blue Ray DVDS which cost double and offer little difference in content identicsl or quality.

I use the one I have for my bed room and have had it for a year. I'm thinking of getting one for a monitor for my laptop I've used the one in my bedroom a couple of times and it does great. I'm planning on up grading to a Blueray HDMI capable laptop nad using an external pc sound system then stream movies and netflicks
