Product Summary

Rainy days just got better.

Measure daily rainfall and check the temperature from your kitchen with this self-emptying rain gauge, which automatically eliminates collected rainfall. Oregon Scientific's wireless, remote rain gauge features a self-emptying rain cup that measures and then dumps collected rainfall. Nine-day memory and indoor/outdoor temperature readings help monitor precipitation and weather patterns over time. An automatic wireless transmission range of up to 300 feet with the rain gauge and up to 100 feet for the thermometer means a lot less back-and-forth. The unit displays daily readings, nine-day histories, and total rainfall records.

  • Measures daily and cumulative rainfall, features a self-emptying rain collector, and a digital clock
  • Indoor gauge module displays daily and cumulative rainfall data up to 9 days
  • The digital clock displays in 12 or 24-hour format, and can be set with a one-minute daily alarm
  • Wireless transmission range up to 300-ft. for rain gauge, 100-ft. for thermometer

Comments about Oregon Scientific™ Wireless 9-Day Rain Gauge and Thermometer:

I like this product, but wish it also showed temperature history--min. & max. Note to fellow Southerners: It doesn't measure snow, sleet and ice until the frozen mess in the cup thaws out! Outdoor units survived 19 degrees.

      Outside sendor to avoid moisture?

        • Indoor
        • Outdoor

Comments about Oregon Scientific™ Wireless 9-Day Rain Gauge and Thermometer:

Unit seems to be accurate and was easy to install. The outdoor thermo sensor is to be placed "out of direct sunlight and moisture" so it is fairly difficult to find a good location to keep it dry, close to the receiver, away from building, and still allow it to be ventilated for an accurate readying.
