    Does What it Says

Comments about Midland® HH50 Pocket Weather Alert Radio:

Been using for over a year. Noticed some of the reviews and I'm not sure what people expect from a [$] pocket receiver. It isn't designed for using in a car, or truck. Works outdoors and indoors with the antenna extended everywhere I've been, in auto or manual settings. Battery life better on manual setting, if you leave it on all the time the battery will run down accordingly. I guess that had to be said. The battery cover has never come off for me, neither has the clip. Overall it does what it's supposed to do nothing more, and it isn't stereo speaker quality either. But I knew that already. When I need to know what is happening where I am, I turn it on, and NOAA tells me. Simple.

Comments about Midland® HH50 Pocket Weather Alert Radio:

This was a gift to my wife.
She is concerned about tornadoes and/or strong storms that may hit us. This radio with weather alert, is comforting to her.
If I knew the looks and sound were so cheap, I would have upgraded my purchase.
