I just hope ya'all realize this is for boosting the signal from your antenna to your TV ...especially if you use a splitter which obviously splits the signal. This will not magically boost the signal to your antenna. My signal was lost when I hooked my 5 sets up to a splitter. But with the amplifier, I now get over 30 channels. Also...be careful you don't OVER amplify. If your outdoor antenna is close to your set with no splitter, an amplifier could over-amplify.

I HAD JUST A BASIC OUTDOOR ANTENNA THAT I PURCHASED FROM RADIOSHACK.COM FOR [$]. I GOT 6 CHANNELS BECAUSE I LIVE FAR AWAY FROM THE CITY THAT BROADCASTS THE SIGNAL. I PURCHASED THIS AND AFTER INSTALLING I NOW GET 25 CHANNELS. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT AND ALL OF THE CHANNELS COME IN CLEAR. WITHOUT THIS ITEM THE CHANNEL WOULD COME IN AND OUT AND IT WAS VERY ANNOYING! I AM SO GLAD THAT I DISCOVERED THIS ITEM AND DECIDEDC TO PURCHASE IT AFTER READING THE REVIEWS.

I had no idea how to get the attic antenna to draw in more than 2 channels. I stopped at the RadioShack in Strasburg & Mike was able to tell me what sold well in the area & what didn't work for the local residents. He was right on! After proper installation, I received 27 channels. WooHoo! All of the channels are clear & working. We have an 1990's VU-120XR antenna, I thought that I would have to replace it, no, the old pre-amp was bad. This new one did the trick. We're about 55 miles from the towers with hills & grain bins in between. Thank You so much!

We got weak and intermitent signals OTA from Vancouver BC 55 miles away with 100' of Coaxal from
antenna to house. With the Antennacraft Pre-Amplifier we get strong signal and several
additional statiions. Ataches to antenna mast and
needs no wire between antenna and house.

People who rate ths bad are not doing something right. I am located 30 Miles away from my city that broadcast TV. I have 35ft of cable running from my ant to the tv. I was getting 23 channels and they all had bad signal. I bought this pre amplifier and wow it made a big difference!!!! I now get 47 Channels with great signal on 39 of them. It just great!! Its a need ifu have more than 20ft of cable!!!!
