Our production area is located 100 feet from the front showroom door and has 2 walls between. We had the standard door bell on the front door, but couldn't hear it when running equipment in the production area. Now we have had to downsize and have to run the production ourselves we had to know when someone entered our shop. This alarm worked perfectly for this situation. We did have to also order the "repeater" to get the signal strength to penetrate the walls.

I take care of an adult disabled man in my home. I use this product to notify me if he comes out of his room at night. So far, this product had been mostly reliable. However, when I open his door in the morning the alarm doesn't trigger half the time. Other times throughout the day, the alarm will trigger its self. I would guess that for the money it is not a great product.

Bought for my business, needed to know when someone entered the front area when I was in the back. Needed the peace of mind, but did not get it with this product. Turns out the range is not quite as good as I hoped. After installation, it worked well for a couple of days, but one morning I came in and it didn't work. Tried to reset it to no avail. Then suddenly it began working again by itself. Now it is day to day when it wants to work it does, but more often it doesn't. There are some options for a range extender and a louder alert that I need to buy to make this system what I really need, but with the unreliability, I can't see putting another hundred dollars or so into this. Probably should have just had a professional system installed. I guess I need to get with their tech support...the only thing I hate worse than the dentist.

Good product. Very easy setup but the range is more limited that indicated-if walls or floors are between the Control Center and the sensor, you may need a signal booster.

This alarm is great for alerting a caretaker that someone has opened a door. Sensors have a limited range, so plan carefully. Test before permanent mounting. That said, it works very well and is a great value. Download and read the User's Guide. The documents that come with the unit lack sufficient detail.
