One of these speakers arrived with a ding in the top right corner of the cabinet. Does not affect performance in any way though,so I kept it. Boxes they came in were partly open and torn. Don't know if It was Radio Shacks fault or the shippings fault.

Just amazing I just got in today 10/30/12 and well... i love it, it fills no only the room i have them in but everywhere!!! its worth every penny!!

They were out of stock for a while, but very much worth the wait. Very good quality for an excellent price.

I use these for the front right and left speakers of my surround sound. These sound great for movies, music, and games. If I had enough room my surround sound system would consist of 7 of these.

Rude and crude! Just the way I like it. Would have given 5 stars except it has no 3 way cross-over. But you can NOT go wrong for the price. Not necessary, but if you add another hundred or so you can do the following: It has been recommended that the paper tweeter can be replaced with a high definition - low distortion tweeter and you've taken a huge step to a first rate sounding speaker. It may be the only change you'll need. The tweeter is a Seas 22TAF/G. Just nibble 2 new notches for the terminals and you're good to go. Little steps would be bracing, stuffing and upgrading the crossover parts (3 way 2nd order crossover), and replacing the mid range driver. That said, still, the out of the box experience was very good.

Great sound and good looking. Cost less than half for a complete system than to replace one of my old speakers !

This is a great big speaker, sounds good, looks good and wonderful price. I purchased two of them and I love them. If you need great affortable speakers, this is the one.

FOR THIS PRICE YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!! SOUND IS FANTASTIC. VERY WELL BUILT,AND THE BASS IS GREAT AND HIGHS ALL VERY CLEAR. HAVE HAD ONLY FOR A FEW WEEKS. HEAR STUFF ON MY LPS I NEVER HEARD BEFORE.
