I bought this to connect my computer to my receiver and it worked for a couple of days before the left channel started cutting out. I have no idea why it does this because if I unplug the 3.5mm end and plug it back in, it works fine for another 5 or 10 minutes. I've plugged it into all 7 of the 1/8" jacks on my computer and they all do the same thing. It's especially annoying because I have a subwoofer that's bridged between the left and right channels so it cuts out along with the center channel speaker so I go from 2 speakers, a sub, and a center channel to one speaker.

The cable is fine but I was insulted when the sales person asked me if I wanted to add to my warranty for a $ amount.

got this for my wife to plug her MP3 into the car stereo. cable had way too much heft for the size of the player -- a lot like the tail wagging the dog. better to get an adapter for the RCA connectors at the dash & add a lightweight 3.5mm stereo cable.

quickly and inexpensively attach your iPod to a guitar or keyboard amplifier. Don't spend big bucks on those other hi-priced cables. This does the trick easily and effectively.
