I am using this for my PC, it is for my 55 in LED, it does work, but as every certified pc tech knows you have to set up the hdmi in dual monitor mode before you can use it as a primary output. it would not fit against the vid card retainer tab, was able to modify the plastic housing to fit but do not have much room left. works and has been. As i stated if you are using the for your pc make sure you have another monitor handy as you will have to set it up to work as a secondary before you can set it as your primary.

Some others have had seating issues with the plug not fitting the recessed area on their camera. I have a JVC HD620, and it fits perfectly. Very snug... won't ever disconnect on its own.

I bought this to connect my Mini-HDMI port on my PC to an HDMI cable to my 40" TV at home. It was too bulky and collided with the case of my PC. After some fiddling, I got it to fit. However, after getting everything plugged in, it did not send any signal through to my TV. I know my settings were correct, as I am a certified computer technician. No results are no results. Would not buy again.

This adapter works just fine with my Nikon D90 -- it requires no modification to fully seat in the mini-HDMI port on the camera.

I'm with Steve on this handy little gem. Fits our new Canon Vixia HF-S200 just fine, no compromises, no dremeling, nice and snug. I saw it on line and stopped by our local RS store to but it. Very convenient portable way to share video viewing with others while traveling. I'm surprised Cannon didn't toss one in their box to begin with.

It fits just fine without any modifications and does exactly what it's suppose to do.

Small enough to carry in small travel pouch.

The swivel feature is definitely handy, as previous posts mention it alleviates the tension / weight of the HDMI cable to camera connection. Since the camera is about 7 oz.

A great cheap way to hook up your camcorder with a mini-HDMI port to the HDTV. Other places wanted $40+ just for a cable, but if you already have an HDMI cable, all you need is this adaptor.
It works great on my Flip Ultra HD.

Like others, the shape is too bulky to fit into some cameras. It would no fit my canon hf10. One could trim it with a dremel, but they simply should make the male side smaller because camera manufacturers use the mini hdmi due to being at a premium for space. A simple design change would render this much more compatible product. In the end I had to purchase a different cable for a lot more $ to get what I needed. If it will fit your camera, great. If not, it's not of much use without shaving off some of the plastic.
