Comments about Universal Power Group Universal 86041 Cordless Spotlight:

I bought this on impulse. They had it pretty cheap when I was in the store one day ($10 or $15 bucks, maybe cheaper). The light was fine from the start. Would hold a charge and last for awhile. The problem is if you go without using it for a long period of time the battery will go bad. To replace the battery is $6.20 +shipping. It's a better deal just to buy another cheap light.

Additionally, I had to repair the internal tabs that hold the battery in place on two occasions. They would break under the weight of the battery and allow the battery to move around.

Only stays lit for about 10 minuets per charge. After about 3 times using it the battery stopped taking a charge.

This has been a good light for me. it holds a charge for a long time. Very bright. I cant find a replacement bulb. RadioShack should at least offer a source for it.

Good light, bought one on sale a couple of years ago. Although it claims the lamp is replaceable, Radio Shack does not stock it and it is not an easy item to find. [...] want to wait to buy a whole new unit when it goes on sale
