This battery is a consistent and reliable replacement for the original Sony PSP battery. Better yet, it has a longer life and still maintains the quality expected for a great gaming experience.[...] As soon as I replaced the old battery, I immediately seen a difference in power level (the green light near blinded me!) I feel I do have to mention that though the Lenmark battery has the same proportions as the original, the identification stickers make for a tight fit in the battery compartment. Another thing I noticed (whether bad or good, I'm not sure) was that the battery came already charged. On a positive note I immediately could use it, however rechargeable batteries should not be shipped fully charged – so I'm on the fence.The charging unit supplied with the PSP is perfect for the battery, and it charges in approximately the same time as the original. I haven't, however, had to charge it much because of the long life.

It is great if your PSP 1000 battery no longer works. It holds an excellent charge (about 8 hours if you don't use the UMD drive or the Wi-Fi.) I highly recommend this battery.
