Recently I found the need to purchase eight Lenmar cordless phone batteries for our AT&T cordless home phones. We have owned these phones for several years. However, our new home has been under construction for the past two years and all of these phones have been sitting in storage. As one would expect, after so much time has passed, all of the batteries died. I drove to my local Radio Shack Store in Charles Town, WV to see if I could purchase replacement batteries for each hand set. One of the associates assisted me in trying to find them in the store. There weren't any in stock so he quickly offered to order them for me. While looking the item up on the computer, he also offered another alternative. He suggested that I could also purchase them from "Radio Shack's On-line Site". While I was there he logged on to their web site and located the item I needed. He then forwarded the information to my personal Email account. I went home, checked my Email and with ease, I clicked on the link he provided to their registration page for new users. In the Email he also included the item, make and model number of the item I needed, removing the guess work for me. I purchased the items online and within a few days, the batteries were shipped directly to my home. I am very pleased, not only with the product but moreover, the consciences care I received form this well informed, customer oriented, Radio Shack employee who helped me immensely. I only wish now, I had taken note of his name so he could receive the recognition he positively deserves.I have been a long time customer of Radio Shack and will continue to seek out their assistance should the need arise; nor would I hesitate to recommend this reputable company to all of my friends and family for all of their electronic devices, gadgets and gizmo accessory needs.
