Works fine if you only plan to use your laptop unplugged for about 45 minutes. Atleast I didn't spend 2x the price on a Dell OEM.

I have purchased two of these batteries, hoping the first was just a bad battery. After the second battery started doing the same I realized it was the battery. After a week and a half to two weeks my laptop stopped recognizing the battery the messege was it needs replaced.

This is good reliable battery...much better than the replacement batteries offered by the laptop manufacturer. I'm glad Radio Shack made this battery available; I don't know what I could have done to find a dependable laptop battery replacement.

When using this battery the screen was so dark it was hard to read. I assumed it did not have enough power to make the screen bright enough to read easily. I did not have this problem with the battery that came with my laptop.
