There are alot of reviews on here that say that they have to yell and people only faintly hear them.

The reason for this is because you are not actually synced with this device.

I helped my buddy install this CB BT device and sync/pair with his phone (Droid X). After syncing with the phone, you will notice it says "Connect to phone audio". After calling his phone, the Cobra CB BT device can start/stop the phone call, but looking at his phone, the call is not going through the BT signal. An easy fix (how ever annoying) is to turn the BT function to go back on, and hold the blue button on the CB Mic for 4 seconds until there is a small sound on the CB radio. You can now use the device as it says. -- then the next time you take a call, you have to do it again... and again... and again.

I assume this is due to incompatible BT specs.

It is a good radio but don't expect learning to use the blue tooth to be a walk in the park. Also The blue tooth will carry your key tone sounds through the speaker, which can get a bit annoying if you like to text. But on the otherhand if your phone has an mp3 player in it, you can listen to your music through your cb speaker! Read the set up instructions for the blue tooth before you try to just muscle your way through it and it shouldn't be too dificult. Remember, this is still just a cobra 29 LTD. it has the same range and qualities as all the others. So don't think you are going to be able to talk to your friends 7 miles away just because there is a blue tooth. The blue tooth is only from the mic to your phone, that's it. Thanks

Best CB radio I've owned. I replaced my Radio Shack Radio with this one because of the Blue Tooth option. This radio beats the Radio Shack radio hands down. I do miss the weather channels. Blue Tooth works great. I did learn to lower the volume control way down when using the Blue Tooth because the other side of the conversation picks up the feedback from the mic.

After reading some of the reviews on here, I was a little hesitant to buy this radio. But after I got it, it took all about 5 minutes to install it, and the reception is great! Also the blue tooth works like a charm, I've had this radio for about a week now with no problems with it.

When on bluetooth my conversations are crystal clear, and (as with any CB) the CB convos are a little noisy, but overall it's really nice.

The only thing about it that I don't like is that the backlighting is a little too bright even while on dim, but other then that it's great!

I have several Cobra CBs in my trucks but this one is terrible. No one can hear me when I use the Bluetooth function. The "cool blue" light is way too bright even on the dim setting and causes a lot of eye strain when driving at night.

I have this CB for one month right now and I just love it easy to use and the Bluetooth makes my driving easy clear sound no need external speaker, communication clear and I recommand this to any truck driver.
