Comments about RadioShack SPST 125VAC/3A Illuminated Pushbutton Switch:

Bought two of these. One turned out to be on/off and the other momentary.
Stamped markings say it's a Shin Chin R13-548. Those come with A or B suffix where A is momentary and B is on/off. I guess Radio Shack has mixed stock, so test each one in store before you buy to be sure you get what you want.

I bought this for a 12VDC application and was able to easily exchange the supplied LED with a 12VDC LED that was also purchased from RS. I have used them now for a year for electrical equipment in my car. They have lasted repeated use and i have only had a problem with one switch "sticking" twice.

Pretty much junk, buy a couple in case you get defective ones like I did. The latch often stops working turning it into a perfect momentary switch if that's what you're looking for, but if not, save your money and find something more durable.

Comments about RadioShack SPST 125VAC/3A Illuminated Pushbutton Switch:

Used in small electronics applications. About one in four fails and either locks up completely or loses the latching function. However, it is one of the only smaller latching SPST switches out there and if it performed better would be a great switch.

After my daughter got out of hospital I needed a "call button" for her to push for help at night. The illuminated light helped her find it in the dark and the pushbutton is fairly soft so she can easily push it.
