this is actually an excellent machine especially for a beginner it was the first machine I ever had now I have 4 that range from $1000 and higher it works great on the beach the coil is waterproof is ground balances automatically it pin points just fine if you know how to read the meter on it its light weight heres a bit of irony for you I was on the beach one day these 2 ladies walked up and had never used a detector they asked if I would set it up for them correctly I was happy to within 15 min I hear them yelling I asked whats wrong they said they thought they had a gold ring I looked at it looked at the marks in the band and sure enough it was a very large Italian 14k ring and I was using a very high dollar fisher and found nothing ..lol the only thing I see wrong is this store is alittle high on price

it finds coins great. doesnt dicriminate against alumunium thats thicker than foil. found some silver with it but no gold yet.

Bought it to play with, and get outside exercise, just trying to figure how deep the signal goes down to find "treasures'
