I gave this to my eleven year old son, as we live right on the beach in a high tourist area. He has spent numerous hours trying to find something, but is now getting discouraged, and I am not sure this really works. I was told by another company, that you need a better machine when looking for things along the water, as it would not pick up.

overall good performance, i've only had it now for about two to three weeks but i've found close to 60 cents in change in just the few times i used it because out of the two weeks i only used it a couple days and only searching for probably an hour at a time. the funniest part about it was i did it all right my driveway

My husband asked for a metal detector so that he could explore a few older building sites in our area. He has been pleased with the results. It was also easy to pack and take along to the beach over the summer. He's even used it to help my brother find lost broad heads in their favorite hunting spots.

Needed to find my lost car keys after a fall from my motor scooter. Had to scour the woods but was not successful. Also had five other men with their detectors helping me. They were from a local club interested in this type of hobby.
