Got this the other day. Followed the manual and everything went just the way they said. First day out found 33year old dime and penny. Found 85 cents total. A great day. Best detecter for the money. Would recomend this to a friend with no dought. Thanks Bounty Hunter.

Ok so i got this Bounty Huntery Quick Silver Metal Detector in the mail today and it was easy to put togather and after 3hours hunting i found 7 pennies and alot of trash!!!!! NO GOLD yet its JAN 27th its cold and the ground is still froze ...lol i love it and it is hard to pin point but u get used to...fast.

never used a metal detector before. [...] assembled in minutes (no tools required). went out to locate property stake and found in just a couple of minutes. I have read that not all metal detectors can identify the material that these are made of.

I had this model for about 2 years before it was stolen. Enjoyed it a lot. This is the only unit I have owned where I found more than just junk. Buying another one from the web site after I type this up.

Easy to use and well built for the price.
Had another Bounty Hunter model , was
a little difficult to use . Used AA 14
batteries. Which this model uses 2 - 9 volt batteries. Have an old farm house dated back in the late 1800's . And are anxious to start to survey the property for any hidden treasures. Guess with the best of luck is to try it out. Don't expect to become a millionaire.
Was to by other reviews that you can look at other areas of interests such
as old buildings ,parks. beaches,
fairgrounds and etc.
As an added note people need to read reviews of other people who have had
experiences with devices such as this. For it educates individuals on how ,what,and making sure your buying the right your looking for. Thanks for allowing me to make my points known.

A very well-constructed metal detector for the price. While we purchased it to locate a missing wedding band outdoors and could not find it, it had nothing to do with the capability of this unit. It found everything else outdoors that contained metal and performed very well.
