I needed to find my sprinkler valves that had been buried under the ground. Within 10 minutes I had pin pointed 4 valves and valve boxes that were covered over by the grass. I had no idea where they were located originally! Saved me alot of time and $$$$$. Works great for locating sprinkler heads as well!

First day out I found a nickle and two pennies 3 to 4 inches deep and each in their own location. Worked better than my expectations.

I got this to find jewelry inside. Impossible. It worked perfectly. It picked up everything metal which is everywhere inside a house making it impossible to find the jewelry. If it would have been lost outside where there are no nails in the floor and wall ect. I'm sure I would have found it.

I gave this to my father for Christmas. First of all if you are ordering it as a gift and the person lives with you don't deliver it to your house. My dad has wanted one of these for years but we would never get it for him. We decided to get it this year. [...]. He used it a little in the house but it seems to go off alot where there is no metal. He did go outside and found a screw that popped off our snow blower. He has not used it on the beach yet. It seems like a decent one. But the surprise was spoiled. :-( I guess radio shack is skimping and trying to sanve money and not put it in a shipping box. The box was crushed on the side too.

Worked great for us. Found rusted nail 6 feet
below ground. Oh boy.

Assembled easily and I was on the beach looking for treasure in a matter of minutes. I did need to add a small towel / cloth to the arm rest area to make it more comfortable.
