I have never left a review on any product prior to this one. I was so impressed that I had to pass on the results. I have a remote camp in northern maine where cell phone reception is non existing. This required the use of a land line which was fine but a added expense. I bought this to see what would happen and it worked wonderfully. Where I had no reception at all on a Blackberry curve I instantly got 3 bars and had data coverage as well. On roads where I would always loose reception I kept it for the entire time. It more then beat my expectations and would recommend the product to anyone looking to get a better cell signal. It really did work, and I will now get rid of my landline, that is how good I think it performed.

We needed this for our office which gets terrible reception. Upon reading prior reviews, one person stated she had it set up in her office and it worked great. Nowhere on Radio Shack's description does it say that it will ONLY work in a vehicle (it only comes with the cigarette lighter adapter to plug it in to power). So, we're having to return it. [...]

I purchased this to in order to be able to "work remote" for my company, strictly data. My office phone now works across the connection; Video still has some issues. My signal boosted from ~350kbs dwn/ ~150 up to 1.2MBs Dn/700kbs up ([@]). Live in rural area, antennae is currently through window and sitting on deck. Had over 4.6GB download last month (watched a couple of Netflix movies; could not previously get them to work). Always 4 bars of signal; -55dB to -79dB signal strength (have not identified reson for variance).Amp gets hot, I may try to get extra PC fan to help cool it.Additional to data, I was once on the phone (bluetooth) and getting poor reception, put the cellphone on top of data card (which was using the the cradle); reception problems cleared up- 4 bars for phone as well.

This works great!! Be sure you have a bluetooth because the phone has to sit in the cradle to pick up the reception. Other than that this thing is great you have to see it work with your own eyes!

We have property and my husband is working in Eastern Washington where we get no cell phone signal. We had no ability to contact anyone or each other and my husband would have to drive 25 miles just to get a signal to make a business call or to call home. Now we can communicate. Also important in an emergency.
