Bought this light with NO specs.
I had the wife look at the comments and read them off to me!!!!
Removed led from nightlight and installed this bulb with a capacitor (as shown later on down)
Works great, Pretty cool nightlight but people tell me: "Welcome back to the 70's acid trips"

I installed two of these in the cup holders in my car with an interrupter switch. They are very bright and I love the functionality. Trying to find more and I wish they were a bit cheaper as well.

The instructions to properly use the LED were courtesy of Falcon (Google "MSGBB557TA_7_Color_LED.pdf"). I used two switches, one for power and the other to toggle. I use these LED's for fiber optic illumination in model trains.

RS - I want to support your direction toward makers (stocking Unos is a great start), however, we need tech sheets on these products available. I understand the store staff is most likely not going to know specifics, but I've tried to research two LEDs purchased today (276-0016 and 276-0005) and the RS website is devoid of details.

Great for lighting up decorative items.

For data, search the web for MSGBB557TA. I don't know why RS doesn't host datasheet downloads for this product on their site.

So that the colors get lit up somewhat evenly when more than one are on, make sure that at least 15mA gets to the LED(VDD connected through a 180 ohm resistor when using a 6V power supply).

High efficiency, very bright!

A low speed oscillator or MCU could be used to synchronize several units by being connected to the mode pin of each LED.

I called rs corporate and was told tech support was at the stores.Those people are baffoons.The guy at RS Corp.basically told me to go jump in a lake.Not to good for someone that's been a lifelong customer!
