I used it twice, now it's dead. The warrantee is worthless. Salesman at the store wouldn't even look at it. No store credit without original packaging and receipt. He told me to complain to Corporate. I can't believe that a retailer in the US can have such a policy. This is like a garage sale. I'm 61, a long-time customer, and I'll never set foot in Radio Shack again.

fuses are available at RadioShack product 270-1046 .315 Amp (same as spec 315mA), 250v, 20mm glass fuse per manual.

I can't believe the indifference by Radio Shack when they private label something. I guess i'm used to Craftsman from Sears who stand behind their products. Radio Shack people actually look at you and expect to buy another one right after they tell you there's nothing that they will do...fuse blew once, new fuse didn't revive it. down for the count. stay away from this Radio Shack product. wish there was a 3rd choice...i would warn an enemy to not buy this.

The dc voltage range is wrong. Resistance range is off by about 20 to 28 %. The battery check is also wrong. Show good on a 1.5 volt battery when it has one volt.

Broken, non-functioning out of the box and the store would not refund or replace without the little cardboard box it came in. Don't waste your money as I have found out that you can go to [...]and get a much better one for less. After my experience at the store I have decided never to buy at Radio Shack again. They lost a long time customer over a [$] failure.

Brand new out of the box and non-functioning. If they know this article to be as bad as it seems why don't they just pull it from their catalog?

When I bught this Item #22-109 it worked good UNTILL the fuse blew then it was over !! I checked other radio shack stores and there was no luck in finding a fuse which was 250v.315ma So I was told you will have to buy another on ? How does a company make a product and not have parts for it ? Well I'll have to shop else where.
