I was using this to charge 9v's for diagnostic equipment. Each 9v provides 1hr of use. 2hrs per day is perfect for my uses, which the two slots accomodate.

It broke after a few months. It achieved at least 150 charges. I certainly got my money's worth, but it's broken.

I'm not saying that this is a common case at all. Some things just break. If you're going to purchase a charger for under $10, just realize that it's not a purchase that'll last a lifetime. Besides, I'm a heavy user. I'm not sore about it.

Take my data and extrapolate. For instance: If you use it once a year, it could last 150 years or longer. It just happens that *I* broke it in a few months.

I used this to power some diagnostic equipment. One 9v lasts 1hr on my devices. Two slots meant that I could use my equipment for 2hrs. Perfect. Charging took all night, but it fit my schedule just fine.

It broke after just a few months... like the Radioshack batteries I purchased with it (the contacts fell off).

I'm not saying that this unit is prone to failure. Things break, and I had gotten at least 100 charges with it. But, like the DLink router that started smoking when I plugged it in, it *MAY* be cause for concern. I'm just saying.

There is nothing great about this charger. There is no indicator to let you know that the battery is charged

I am using this in a personal medical device that uses up an alkaline battery in 2 days. With the rechargeable batteries, I get about 1.5 to 2 days of use before I need to recharge the battery. It has already paid for itself in this short time and is keeping a lot of dead batteries out of the landfill. I would recommend this product 100%. The batteries may charge slow but I avoid lapses by having 4 batteries on hand, with 2 being charged at all times.

The batteries charge fairly quickly, but you'd never know it, because the light only indicates that there is a battery in the charger. Also, the batteries do not "seat" well in the charger slots. They almost need to be taped into place to maintain contacts. Other than these two disappointments, the product is adequate.
