I received one of these as a gift when I was 10 years old. It helped me immensely while I was teaching myself about electronics. This is a good quality, durable breadboard, in fact, mine lasted almost 15 years!

The banana jacks (which double as binding posts) are quite convenient, and the split busses come in handy for circuits that use multiple supply voltages.

I'd highly recommend this breadboard, whether you're just starting out learning electronics, or doing serious prototyping.

WISH boards are bigger than the standard size, and they don't have bus markings. These are either good or bad, as you prefer. What makes the WISH board significantly different is the fact that the buses along the long edges of the board are divided, giving you a total of 8 separate buses, which you can link together, of course. This is only a disadvantage if you don't know about it -- otherwise, it's a great idea.

This is a great product, I use it all the time to test out my circuits without having to use a circuit board.
