This is not a good product, unsure if Gigaware makes trash or if this product is an exception, but do not buy this if you want something that you will use a lot.

The first time I tried to use it the ear piece bit detached INSIDE my ear and had to be removed with tweezers. Also the speaker is tinny and the audio quality is HORRIBLE.

You would do better buying strings and cups. May not work as well, but probably wont require a trip to the ER. Avoid this product at all costs.

I used this for skype, and the microphone quality was terrible. I wouldn't recomend this product to anyone.

This headset works great for what i needed it for. Has great sound and people on other end can hear me just fine with gaming AND phone calls through my computer. Only downside is the ear clip because its hard to get situated but when you do it will feel great as long as you use the right ear piece.

Im an OTR truck driver and i use this product while speaking to my dispatchers and customers it is very useful to connect over skype and speak with my family who travels across country it is very effective for people like me who 90% of the time doesn't have thier phone on them or it isnt charged this product i think compared to alot of products ive used including plantronics and bluetooth brand headsets it reduces the sounds of the truck and the road traffic so that the person over the other end can hear me and it is way cheaper than most headsets so i rate this product with a 10 out of 10

I originally used the product for ventrillo chat for my games. However when i got it I quickly found that it doesn't work without a push to talk feature attached to the program your trying to use it with.But it still works, sound quality of my voice may not be the best but you get what you pay for.

When I was there, I asked someone working there about this microphone. He said, and I quote "Yeah, GigaWare makes good stuff." I took his word for it and spend the [$] to get this thing. Now, I know that he was a liar, and that GigaWare puts out garbage.I took it home, plugged it in, and tried to record something. There was an ungodly hiss over everything I recorded. Everything I tried would not get rid of the hiss.Sure, the ear clip is sort of comfortable, the removable ear pads are pretty cool, and the sound quality of the ear piece is pretty clear, but it all means nothing if the mic barely works.I am going back to Radio Shack tomorrow and getting a refund. The fact they they would sell a product this shoddy is beyond offensive.After dealing this this abomination, I am never dealing with another GigaWare product. It's not worth the time.

Simple, small, good price/performance. Treat it gently and it works just fine. Comes with a handy mini carrying case - amazing how many products do not provide storage case. Gigaware is a RS brand. Ear loop is bendable rubber and holds whatever custom shape you like. Ear loop turns with click stops to allow boom mic to be in best position for you. Ear Loop can be reversed for right or left ear. Three sizes of rubber ear buds are cleverly angled for comfort. They fit loosely and can fall off somewhat easily, so watch out for that. Sound quality is good mono. Fine for voice calls, not good for music or gaming. Noise-cancelling mic works well indoors. You can talk quietly for privacy, say if you are working in a coffee shop or hotel lobby. These will not work with an Apple Mac - get a USB headset for that. Works fine on my Dell, Compaq laptops, and desktops. No drivers needed, just plug in the standard color coded green/speaker pink/mic 3.5mm stereo plugs. [...] perfect if you are on the road and left your fancy mic at home.
