My husband installed it on our back door. It was easy to do. We bought it because our son is 17 months old and can reach the door handles. It's very loud so we know if he is trying open the door. It worked great when someone tried to get into our home last night. It was loud enough that it not only scared away the person trying to break in but also let our neighbors know that something was going on.

I installed on my carport storage room. Like the key switch. delay is too long, theives could snatch a lot in the 10 second delay, overall though it will provide a minimum level of security and some peace of mind.

I bought this alarm because I have a teenager who likes to sneak out! I thought for sure this would stop it but you can remove the batteries and turn the alarm off!!! Hmmm..

We use the alarm(s) in our group home for notice if one of our residents wonder. The alarm is easy to install and set. We would be happier if the warning signal could be a little louder, and also the key on and off a little larger

Put on doors leading to outside-they are not loud to hear on the 2nd floor.

Installed on home backdoor for use as early warning of intruders. Key is easier to use that a coded keypad. Can't beat it for the money!

I think the alarm could be louder and would like to see a chime feature for regular door opening just to let me know someone opened the door. I am satisfied with this product.

I use these alarms on bedroom doors and on storage sheds. it works great as a deterant, but of course you should not expect more than a decent way to alert you to an intrusion. the siren is a little too quiet but IS audible WITHIN the home and is loud enough to spook a would be thief. Any one can easily just remove the alarm and smash it or remove the batteries if it sounds, but it does work to alert you if only for a few seconds. it's an inexpensive product for what it delivers. good buy overall.

Someone attempted to break in my home. The alarm went off at 440 am. They tried to open the door by tugging on it and the alarm was just that sensitive. I called 911 and they immediately came. The alarm is very loud in the house but you can not hear the alarm outside the home at all. Neighbors wouldn't even know it was sounding. Also the alarm cuts off after a minute of sounding. But it scared my burgler away!!
