      This lense hasn't let me down. I shoot basketball games indoor and out, and I've been getting great shots, although I have to get creative positioning in small gyms. You gotta love the price. I originally purchased this lense elsewhere, but returned it when I saw the RS price.

        I got mine at Radio Shack for <$110. It's not an L lens, it's got limitations but at this price point it's a bargain. If you have the money and are that serious about photography, go with the L lense for 10x the money. But it is more than adequate for the casual hobbyist.

        Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
