Comments about Directed Electronic FM Direct Adapter for SIRIUS: While it sucks buying a sirius radio only to have to spend more money, this fixed my woes of having to change the fm station every few miles (and giving up on sirius altogether when I drove around downtown). I'm not mechanically minded at all and I installed it easily - popped the radio out, stuck the box part in the glove compartment, played the now-familiar game of "where can I stash THIS cord", radio back in, and we're good. I wouldn't recommend sirius without it.

Will transmit over any FM station, when (if)you want to listen to your FM radio just shut your sirius off. After reading reviews below I drive a GM vehicle and it fit just fine. Also I did not have to take apart anything on the dash, just reached behind.

I spend 130 dollars on a Starmate 5, you'd think they would include something as important as this. The fm transmitter antenna that they include in the original sirius radio is HORRIBLE. Anyway this product is a must have for anyone relying on fm stations to get input. Some people may need an adapter, I did not since I already had an aftermarket deck installed in my truck.

I did have to get the GM adapters for the antenna, but they were easily found at a local auto parts store.
