Comments about Monster® RadioPlay™ 300 Wireless FM Transmitter:

I had another brand (since re-gifted!) that was so weak that as I drove across country, it would be overwhelmed by local FM stations every 15-20 minutes or so. And that unit would "forget" its frequency whenever it was unplugged (!) With this unit, I drove across NC and had to change stations only once. When I turned it off, it had actually been on the same frequency as a fairly close local station, with no problem.
The only downside is that when I first left the store with it, my GPS (LG phone with VZ navigator, also running from the cigarette lighter) gave me several error messages in quick succession and sent me on several U-turns. When I turned off the FM transmitter, the GPS became reliable again. Later, on the open highway, the GPS seemed fine again. Perhaps this issue can be rectified by placing the units farther apart. Will post updates if that gets figured out!

Comments about Monster® RadioPlay™ 300 Wireless FM Transmitter:

This product is very clear, especially compared to a similar product from another retailer. Very pleased with its performance thus far. I wish I was able to use it outside of the car, but it is limited by needing a car charger-plug in.

Comments about Monster® RadioPlay™ 300 Wireless FM Transmitter:

I bought mine in 2005 and used it 5 days a week for up to 5 hours a day. Never any problem. Could not tell difference between this unit and strong FM Station.

Mine finally gave it up today after 7 years of rough handling. The bonus is it will be 30 dollars less than I paid in 2005.

Comments about Monster® RadioPlay™ 300 Wireless FM Transmitter:

Bought this product today from my local Radio Shack and I must say Im very happy with this purchase. I wanted to use my Android phone (HTC Amaze) to listen to radio stations with the TuneIn Radio App. Easy to set up, and within minutes I was listening to radio stations in Greece through my FM stereo in my car!!!

Reception was great. I already have a station that I listen to my Ipod so I just used that station.

product was so good, I think I will even start to use this product to listen to my Ipod because the reception is better than the attachment I currently use for my Ipod.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY... I didn't listen to the previous reviews and I should have. Don't buy! This is a piece of garbage. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot. I walked right back in and returned it.

Comments about Monster® RadioPlay™ 300 Wireless FM Transmitter:

I have had this product for 3 years and it just went out on me because I accidentally broke it. I LOVE it so much that I'm going to buy it again. I use it every day and for the most part the reception is really great when i use it for my andriod. I would have to admit the reception is NOT 100%, in woody areas you can count on it to not work, so just have a cd ready but other than that its pretty easy to use and for the price it pays for itself because it last so long.

Comments about Monster® RadioPlay™ 300 Wireless FM Transmitter:

I got this for my new car that didn't have a tape player or aux jack. It worked great with my old Android phone and zune. However when I got the new iPhone 4s it started having HORRIBLE recepetion issues. I thought it was a defective wire so I sent it in for repair. They gave me a brand new one and it still persisted. I tested it with the zune and something in the iPhone's antennae caused the problem. This is for anyone BUT a new iPhone user!
