I hooked it up to my 4wheeler. Uniden brings back a lot of memories as a teen. So i bought one for the quad. It's small, reliable, and cheap enought that i wasnt scared to take it apart and add RVT to the inner seams to weatherproof it for ATV use. Keeping it simple, affordable, and useful!

I've had several CB units in my Jeep, and this one has by far been the best yet. I can hear the speaker with the tires humming at highway speeds, its easy to use, compact, and has survived dust, rain, and bouncing around offroad. I've been nothing but pleased.

The pro 520 is a good small unit that fit in the dash of my tacoma.....great swr match with the wilson 1000 roof mount....works just as well as my big midland in my big truck. ONly con was doesn't have power meter.....but can't have everything was looking for good small unit !!!

Simple easy to use CB. small size allowed for a clean in dash install in stock add on CD player location. can still hear the speaker perfectly fine with only a small gap around the unit. works well for car to car communication while traveling. haven't tested range as my antenna isn't very high.

Don't let the low price fool you, this radio is top notch. It may not have all the bells & whistles but it TALKS! Over 5 mile range easy.

Perfect match for traffic updates on the 101 Freeway in CA. Cuts through the clutter thanks to the RF Gain Control and ANL Switch. Also, it has nice punch to get you out far enough to those "distant voices" who always seam to have information on the road ahead.

Consider upgrading to an external speaker if you drive with your window down. High volume means a lot of vibration for the electronics to deal with over time, plus speakers distorts.
