This unit fits perfect (with a little mod to center counsal. Front facing speaker works great and the unit is tucked in in front of shifter out of the way of everything. You have to take the cut the two little storage units out and it will slide right in. Anywhere else in the jeep wrangler and it is in the way. It fit perfect for width and you don't need to buy a external speaker.

I bought this radio and installed it in my van. Using it just a few times each week, it only lasted 3 months. The channel selector just free-wheels without tuning a channel. The radio has some nice features, but the fact that it broke in 3 months has soured me on this radio.

works just as good as the big boys used for highway driving to monitor traffic and check weather would recommend to buy

I've had this cb for a while now not a bad radio but i got the antenna that was recomended for it and i'm really dissapointed with the range and reception of it no adjustments for it prob. going out for a new antenna soon.

The Cobra 18 is a great 11 meter radio, the sound-tracker really works.The wx channels are a nice feature, too.I am a ]new] ham operator, but the 18wx is a radio I won't part with.Well worth more than I paid.I installed it on my bicycle for mobile tx.

I used this radio in el monte california and got pasadena,altaloma and between.In arizona get from toltec to near chandler(if near the freeway).Just talk and when someone answers hit voice tracker button and signal increases big time.

Big trucks are noisy and my hearing isn't that great anyway. could use better speaker with more volume. I like the radio otherwise.

Used in one Jeep while exploring the desert, another but different unit in another. This was much more powerful than the other "sport" unit, appeared to work very well.
