Comments about Cobra® Cobra® 29-LTD 2-Way 40-Channel CB Radio: As a Ham and CB enthusiast, I have quite a bit of equipment. Some on the high end and some on the low end of cost. The Cobra 29 LTD Classic has always been one of my favorite medium cost CB radios. It's attractive, durable, dependable, affordable and offers about all most would want in a good all around CB. I have both Ham and CB friends that I enjoy talking with, and the Cobra 29 is perfect for the CBers.

Main use is NOAAH broadcast and person to person when off road. CB's have been replaced by cell phones but this allows two way for over a mile with comfort and easy. Handy PA feature to send warnings to other drivers. Night glow, just looks cool. Wish they would offer differnt colors...price has dropped,,,I payed 150...so 100 is a steal! Pros

Comments about Cobra® Cobra® 29-LTD 2-Way 40-Channel CB Radio: I really love this CB i got it for my 16th birthday and i was so happy. after getting it installed i filpped around the channels but couldnt hear any thing unless i had my head so close to it almost literally had the channle knob in my ear. would recomend buying an extension speaker or having a switch hookup to your vehicle speakers. also recomend putting in a fuse box in older vehicles even though it comes with its own fuse better to be safe than sorry  Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Cobra® Cobra® 29-LTD 2-Way 40-Channel CB Radio: The radio is great--does what it is supposed to--also, decided to get a good antenna so I purchased a K30 and have not been disappointed--funny thing about the antenna, we cut down 1/2 inch and it really increased the coverage--but it was imperative to move the location of the antenna to the last 12" of the Ford Windstar van it is mounted on--if you're not getting good reception, try that--had to do the same with an Expedition --Not the greatest audio quality--but about what was expected[...]
