Comments about StarTech.com 18" Serial ATA Data Cable with LP4 Adapter:

The main purpose that I bought this was because, even though I had space for additional eSata on the Main / Motherboard I had run out of the power adapters (plugs) and rather than adding more converters it made sense to buy something that would combine as well save space. I have used this on both my newer HD's (Western Digital -Caviar Green) as well as my old (Western Digital -Caviar Blue), both of which responded well.

Comments about StarTech.com 18" Serial ATA Data Cable with LP4 Adapter:

Instead of having too use two seperate cables for my drive I only have to use one. Please believe me (If you have a drive using SATA interface/with lightscribe you will need a connection like this. They are not mention on the box or that easy too come by.)
